2010 Jamboree

Shortly after leaving camp and still on the logging roads we came across a motorcycle abandoned in a ditch. A new trail leader was born as the old one staid behind … thanks Spencer. We started the trail at Riders Camp and had a good morning. Just before lunch, Merrick met back up with the group and led us up Frost Mountain, in search of shade and mosquito freedom. Beautiful views made for an enjoyable lunch. Shortly after lunch, a participant lost his front drive shaft.  Merrick once again staid behind and Spencer once again took the lead. The afternoon also had in store: one
punctured “puncture resistant” tire (faulty spotter) and U-Joint trouble showing up on Laurie Carter’s CJ. Overall, it was another great run with the WWJC.
